another trip to the PUMPKIN patch...

We headed to the pumpkin patch a few weekends back to BUY a few pumpkins to carve.  We missed Daddy the first time around and wanted to make a trip back to bring some home...

We told the kids that they were in charge of picking out FOUR of their most favorite pumpkins and off they went...

 Jack likes anything "baby"...

These kids searched FOREVER...

We got one family shot, gathered our FOUR large pumpkins, SIX Pocahontas corns and millions of gourds and made our way home...

THURSDAY (continued)...
After a fun time at the pumpkin patch we rested up a little and then headed to Grandma Emily's house for family get together in honor of Baby Olivia...

 The kids literally piled up in the guest room and watched a movie...

A few weeks ago Charlie and my Uncle Brian began a special a little bond and apparently it stuck...

 Bryan joined us just as thing were ending but we'll take any time with Daddy we can get these days.  Charlie jumped right on his lap with one of his favorite books and was one happy little boy...

 The only thing that could get him away was a little ice cream sundae...

Emily stayed the night and had a special Thursday sleepover with Grandma, Auntie Jenny and Baby Olivia.  She even got to open a little present (a birthday present from Great Grandma Toddy)...

The next morning Grandma brought Emily home EARLY as promised since I was taking care of her friend Olivia for the day.  As soon as Emily walked in the door the fun began...

For an early brunch the kids wanted special shaped pancakes (a "J" for Jack and unicorns for the girls) along with an official tea party...

There was one point in the afternoon when I had FIVE kiddoes with me all by myself...

 Charlie LOVED every minute of it...

That evening we went to the Skagit River Brewery to celebrate Patti's 60th birthday.  My dad did an amazing job putting together this party!

We didn't bring the kids but ended up with a baby the entire night...

 We got home early and spent the evening laughing and hanging out.  Our goal was to play a few board games but I think we were all too exhausted to think...

SATURDAY morning was a typical morning for us filled with races, Super E and Super J and all sorts of craziness...

That evening we decided to head out to Deception Pass to hang out with Grandpa Jim and Grandma Patti for the evening.  They decided to keeping celebrating and go camping for the weekend.  It was absolutely beautiful outside but it was FREEZING...

 The sunset was AMAZING...

We promised Emily ONE smore and then headed on home.  Emily was so confused why we weren't sleeping in our tent since we were "camping" at our camp ground.  She is one precious girl...

I think I sighed in and out all day Sunday.  I missed my sister and Olivia before they even left but all the same I was incredibly thankful for the time we had together.
