a few days of BLISS (day one: pumpkin patch)...

There is NOTHING like a sister and lucky me got THREE full days of her and her precious baby a few weeks ago.  The Wednesday after we got back from the aquarium, Auntie Jenny came down to spend some well needed quality time with us.

On THURSDAY she took care of the boys for me while Emily had her annual vision appointment.  As soon as we got back we headed to the pumpkin patch.  We've been coming to this pumpkin patch since Emily was 13 months old. The kids LOVE the haunted barn, looking at the assortment of pumpkins, feeding the chickens, riding in the wheel barrows and most of all just running around and taking it all in. 

Before I get to all of the pictures from this year, I couldn't help but take a sneak peek back at some from years prior.  I didn't start our blog until Jack was born so a lot of these pictures are new to our blog...

It was so much fun this year having Olivia join the kids...

Jack was over the moon that Grandpa "Jeem" came out to join us...

Ooooooh!  The spooky old barn...

Emily is so in love with this little baby...

A quick stop to see the chickens...

Then we settled in for a little break...

Our break was short lived as Jack soon found the yellow tractor...

After almost a full hour at the pumpkin patch Charlie still looked like this.  While everything in me wanted to wake him up to get his picture I could never allow myself to do such a thing.  He was one happy, sleepy boy...

Can you tell my dad is one proud grandpa...

Just as we thought we may be heading out we spotted the green tractor in the distance and Jack took off...

I think they were making some really good tractor noises in this one...

The Emily's found some tasty honey...

...and a good stroller...

Jack was super helpful and helped pushed the pumpkins onto the scale...

...and just as we started to check out looked who woke up...

Grandpa took them for a few more trailer rides...

And then we all headed back to our homes.  This was a pretty good way to start out our time with Auntie Jenny.
