3rd SUNDAY...

You never know what kind of FUN to expect on third Sunday!  Grandma Jones is always up to something new to do with the kids and this past third Sunday was no different.  As soon as the kids arrived she sat them down for some knock-knock jokes and she quickly had them rolling...

After a fabulous dinner Grandma let each of the grand kids pick TWO gummy worms as a treat...

I don't know what it was but when we got back home that evening our kids were going BONKERS.  I was trying to sew them some new neck pillows for the car but noticed that my pillow stuffing kept disappearing...

I have a feeling that these are just a few of the funny moments we can expect to see from this little guy in the years to come...

FUN in the SUN...

Before the long week of soggy, wet, rainy days the kids and I took full advantage of the SUN.  The boys and I spent our mornings at various parks while Emily was at school, sometimes meeting up for play dates and sometimes just hanging out by ourselves...

In general I make it a habit of leaving my camera in the car while at the park since Charlie is such a little dare devil.  You never know when he is going to leap from the top...

Jack my sweet, timid boy, still wants me to help him up and down while Charlie YELLS if I even try to assist...

After preschool we headed over to Anacortes for a play date with the Loves.  Emily tested out Olivia's scooter and did surprisingly well...

Such a BIG boy these days...

The following Saturday Bryan went halibut fishing with my dad for the day so the kids and I did our best to entertain ourselves at home.  Jack decided to dress himself in his new shorts from Auntie Jenny, his WSU shirt, Thomas rain boots and his favorite cowboy hat.  He wore this outfit ALL day long...

This is Jack's signature pose.  I think he borrowed it from Emily...

We made a run to Haggen for some sweet treats...

Then Emily and Jack tried out their new running shoes as they practiced their stances for the upcoming All Comers Meets in June...

Olivia...

I just can't seem to get enough of this little girl.  It is hard to believe that she is already going to be 10 months old at the end of this month!  She has one of the best personalities ever and in a much girlier way she reminds me of a mini-Charlie!  She smiles, growls and loves to take part on any kind of adventure!
While we were celebrating my dad's birthday the other weekend Olivia surprised us all by sitting in the grass for the first time without SCREAMING.  I am not sure she loved it but she stayed there a long time and never fussed.  She was wearing an old dress of Emily's and I couldn't resist the urge to catch her in a few shots...

While I make NO claim to be a photographer I have always enjoyed playing around with pictures...

We LOVE you Olivia girl.  Maybe one day when you are a little bigger you can convince your mommy and daddy to live a little closer but in the mean time don't worry,we will do our best to come visit you each month!
