WEDNESDAY:
We woke Wednesday morning and decided to take the kids on an early bike ride...
Half way through the second loop Jack's bike fell apart. Grandpa and Daddy worked on it for awhile but ultimately it was in need of some special tools...
Poor Lightening McQueen got loaded on top of the bike carrier and off we went...
The boys LOVED helping Grandpa and Daddy with all of the tools...
We re-hydrated...
Then set back off on another ride...
Later that afternoon Bryan and I took the kids on a LONG bike ride in search of snow cones...
When we got back we convinced Grandpa Jim that there was enough wind to finally fly his kite but unfortunately we were wrong. Instead we all sat down at the beach, relaxed and watched Charlie play in the water...
Over at the quiet side (far away from Charlie), Grandma Patti worked with Emily on tying her shoes. Since Emily does not own any "tie" shoes I haven't been too eager to teach her but she LOVED the opportunity to practice on grandma's shoes...
As we were sitting there a huge blue heron swooped down and landed in a tree behind us...
THURSDAY:
Thursday was our last and final day of camping for the summer. The kids had a quiet morning eating Captain Crunch Berries for breakfast and then practiced their waltzing to Cinderella music...
They got all dressed up in their Angry Birds shirts and did some outside activities while we packed up camp...
