Our March madness has been a lot more fun than watching my brackets this year! Grandpa Jim and Grandma Emily have been helping me out a lot this month with the kiddoes. Grandpa is now Emily's official companion for all field trips and this month they ventured to the Children's Museum. My dad took some great pictures but unfortunately the settings got bumped and he didn't realize until he got home that the pictures turned out a little blurry. I have done this too many times to count! The big surprise of the day was a visit from Daddy while they were at the museum!
A few weeks back Charlie serenaded us with a little concert. This little boy has a whole lot of rock and roll in him...
The kids and I ventured to Grandpa's Park to ride our bikes but when we got there it was too COLD with the wind chill so instead we ran around to warm ourselves up a bit. My dad was looking pretty impressive just FOUR months after his surgery, running around and toting a kid at the same time!
Emily has been spending a good amount of her time reading. She is now on #11 of the Magic Tree House Books! Just today she told me how much she LOVES First Lutheran Preschool but she can't wait to go to her West View School next year so that she can learn Spanish like her mommy. I could not have been prouder!
We have also spent a lot of time outside. Emily went to my sisters house for a few days for a well needed Auntie Jenny vacation. Jack missed her like crazy so I did my best to keep him well entertained...

The boys and I built a big track in the playroom to keep them entertained while it rained the next morning...
On Friday the weather fared a little better and we headed back outside...
I spent the day before washing and cleaning up the outdoor play kitchen so I wasn't feeling too disturbed when I saw Charlie snacking on the pizza!
For some reason I thought it would be fun to mix up some sidewalk paint for the kids...
Charlie was a whole lot of fun to clean up...
On Saturday Emily finally made her way back home and we were happy people to see her. Looking through the pictures Auntie Jenny took I am not too sure she missed us the same!
Grandma Jones gave each of the kiddoes their very own party bag and these little girls got to coloring right away...
We attempted a picture with all EIGHT grand kids...

Then we headed Nooksack for some more fun. I will totally admit that I gave my kids soda (usually for camping ONLY) and candy on the way there in effort to keep them awake. The kids ran around most of the evening playing with Cousin Jake's new handcuffs...
