Spring Break (part 4)...

We got back to Mount Vernon on Thursday, just in time for Emily's swim lesson.  I spent the day unpacking and cleaning up and then we ended our evening dying our Easter eggs...

Friday night is family night and now that the kids are getting older I have been letting them choose the family activity and their own special request for dinner.  This particular Friday was Emily's night so she chose going out to dinner at Round Table Pizza and then finishing up our Easter eggs...

 I had been hollowing out eggs for MONTHS so it felt fulfilling to finally stuff them full of confetti...

Saturday was BEAUTIFUL so Bryan kept the kids outside all day so that I could get all of the Easter cleaning and cooking preparation finished...

Spending Saturday outside, enjoying lunch and dinner outside felt amazing but I couldn't help but feel a tiny bit sad that our week together was almost over.  Just thinking about next year when Emily is in Kindergarten, Jack is in preschool and I am back to work makes me savor this time together even more.

Spring Break (part 3)...

After a FUN afternoon at NW Trek the kids were tired and eager to go to Auntie Jenny and Uncle Zach's house.  As soon as we arrived the kids forgot about how tired they were and headed straight for the backyard to play...

 While I watched Olivia and Jack inside Auntie Jenny took Charlie and Emily out to feed the chickens...

 Jack LOVES playing games, especially Battleship...

 Bryan and Zach got in a whole lot of bonding time out by the fire and at "band practice"...

When it was finally time to go to sleep we all headed for the trailer and practiced our funny faces to help get our wiggles out...

The next morning the kids were up bright and early and ready to get back outside...

 That afternoon we all headed to the Snoqualamie Train Station to look around...

We purchased a few items at the gift shop and then headed back to the house...

 Later that evening the rain finally ceased and we walked down to the elementary school to play...

 We stayed one more night in the trailer and were greeted with tasty donuts for breakfast...

Early that afternoon we headed on back home but we increased our cargo by two.  Auntie Jenny and Olivia hitched a ride back up with us to help us continue our spring break fun!
