On Friday, Charlie's birthday, we headed up to Nooksack to Grandma and Grandpa Jones' house for a weekend of fun! All of the family was over at the park celebrating the Everson Festival so we joined in on the fun as soon as we arrived...
Charlie didn't want to go by himself so somehow I managed to squeeze myself into the little container...
The BIGS all went in the bounce house for a bit...
...while these two shared some dinner...
That evening Uncle Big Tom delivered our float to us...
The next morning Grace was up and ready to play in the trailer...
Then we all made our way down to the middle school and boarded our float for the parade. Our "theme" was Camp Run-a-Mucka. Grandma Jones has us all up for a weekend in the summer for a sleep over and lots of cousin fun. Auntie Manda and Auntie Jen-Jen made the float, Grandma Jones ordered up camp shirts for the adults and I made all of the kids matching shirts. All in all I thought we looked fabulous!
Grandma Jones was the Camp Director while we four were the "Counselors in Training"...

Cousin Matt Judy built this wagon for his senior project. It was amazing and we were pretty thankful he let us borrow it!
The kids waited around for an entire hour before we were aloud to start moving. Charlie seemed pretty content though with his feet propped up on the pool...
The parade was FABULOUS...seriously one of my favorite things we have ever done and the best part was that we took 2nd place!
After the parade we said good-bye to the DeHoogs as they headed off for a weekend with the other side of their family and made our way back to the park with the Lautenbachs and G&G Jones...
Bryan and I took the boys to see the farm animals...
Emily met back up with us and showed us the beautiful face painting she got done...
Then it was off to the bounce house again...
By this time it was well into the afternoon and our kids were starting to melt. We took one last train ride...
Emily participated in a few relay races...
Then we headed on back to Grandma and Grandpa's to cool off...
Jake and Max hung out with us for a while in the trailer...
Later that evening the Bellingham Joneses came to visit. George chased and wrestled with the kids until they finally wore him out...
Then we lit an early fire...
...and Jack and Charlie drove their tractors on Grandpa...
Sunday morning Grandma fixed a delicious breakfast!

Later in the afternoon we decided to take the kids on a bike ride to visit Auntie Becky and Uncle Marshall. Emily tells me weekly that this is the house she wants to live in one day and every time it warms my heart. It was once Great Grandma and Grandpa Jones' house, making her joy for it even more special.
As soon as we arrived she jumped off her bike and headed to visit "her" goats...
We had some serious cleaning off to do after so much time in the goat pen. Having a hose though proved to be just a little too much power for these two...before we knew it they turned on ALL of us!
On Monday morning it was quiet. Grandma and Grandpa went back to work and the Lautenbachs were back at their house. Emily woke up excited though knowing that it was going to be her special day. I had arrange riding lessons with Cousin Kristie and Emily was OVER THE MOON excited to go...
Emily was Miss Independent all morning and couldn't wait for me to leave...
I eventually did leave her but gradually made my way to the arena later on...
Auntie Sheesh gave Jack a little ride on Twinkle while Emily rode on Ruby...
Charlie was not interested in the horses but he found a pile of John Deere trucks to entertain himself...
After our time riding horses we headed back to the trailer and headed home. The whole way home all I could think about was how much fun we had and how lucky we are to have such an amazing family! We LOVED our time and can't wait until Camp Run-a-Mucka next year!
We got home late in the afternoon, cleaned ourselves up and then headed straight over to the Pearson's for dinner...
Charlie fed T-Rex some of his blueberries for dinner...
Then the kids swam, played and finally ran around in their jammies out back...
I am not sure a Friday through Monday has ever been so much FUN!

Kristie learned how to ride on Twinkle years ago so it was exciting to watch Emily try to follow in her shoes...
