Halloween...

Halloween was on a week day this year so we celebrated with a pancake breakfast with butter cut outs to make the jack-o-lantern face...
Charlie, Grandpa Jim and I watched Jack's Halloween parade at school while Emily was in Kindergarten...

We got a few pictures back in the classroom...
Later that evening we all snuck out a did a little trick-or-treating around the neighborhood...

It was pretty windy and cold outside so we stuck to one loop around and then headed back home.  We had lots of trick-or-treaters at our house and the kids LOVED handing out lots of candy all night...

Pumpkins...

If you are wondering why my blogging has been postponed for so long it is because I have been internally conflicted with the idea of PAYING for my blog.  Apparently I have used up too much space in the internet world and now have to pay each month to continue my blog.  After a full month of deliberating on what to do I finally caved and decided to make the monthly payments.

Going to Gordon's to get pumpkins might be one of my favorite times of the year.

... a little comparison to see how much they have GROWN...

2012...
First stop was the spooky old barn...
Then we were off to see the giant pumpkin...
The old truck was a big hit this year...
But my favorite is always the old yellow tractor...
We took a few more pictures inside the art gallery...

STUDENT OF THE MONTH...

Emily was super excited when she walked into school last month and Mr. Vivanco pointed to her picture on the bulletin board...
As parents we may have even more excited and a little teary eyes as well.  It honestly feels like she is growing up right before our eyes and it is moving faster than ever these days.  We are so incredibly proud of the little she girl she has become!
