In October we ventured out for our first stroller ride. Grandma Emily pushed Emily while I pushed Jack. He slept through the whole ride!
At six weeks Jack was starting to hold his own with big sister Emily...
So she swung him back and forth a little bit to make sure he knew who was in charge!
Isn't this sign so cute?! Auntie Manda had it made for me!
And we are off to Gordon's Pumpkin patch to get the most perfect pumkins of all!
It didn't take long for Emily to catch on. She wanted to be just like her daddy and pull the cart!
With five perfect pumpkins in tote (we take this pumpkin finding seriously in our house) Emily was exhausted and...
so was Jack!
During the rest of October made another trip back out to the pumpkin patch without Daddy because Emily was obsessed with making "Momma Martha" (a.k.a. Martha Stewart) glitter and painted pumpkins. What can I say...the girl has good taste!
We also took the kids to a local dairy farm during Skagit County Farm Days. As many of you know Emily was born to live on a farm. She has never met an animal she wasn't in love with.
We went to the Burlington-Edison homecoming parade and met cousin Grace there. (Jack is with us but he is always strapped on me in the Baby Bjorn. That's just the way you have to roll with two little ones!)
Finally it was Halloween! Daddy came home early so we could do some trick or treating in down town Mount Vernon.
Oh how I love a good lollipop!
Jack went as a pumpkin.
Then we were off to Grandma and Grandpa Jones'. Cousin Jack was a pirate and just couldn't wait for Emiy to take off that chicken suit and stay awhile.
