Susan Dahl's Shower, August 29th, 2009 (Mom's bookclubbies)
Susan's house is AMAZING and she is quite the entertainer. The whole shower looked like something out of a magazine. It was on one of the those REALLY hot days so it was held outside on the deck overlooking her fabulous gardens.

I can't explain in words the emotions I went through with my sister's wedding. She is the most beautiful woman inside and out, incredibly fun to be around, an amazing teacher and the best friend I could ever have. The love between sisters is something indescribable....To try and show my love for my sister I wanted to do everything just perfect for her for her wedding. For this shower I made her a clutch to use on the big day. The fabric I used was from my shawl from my wedding and the embelishment was taken from my mom's wedding veil.

Family Wedding Shower, August 31, 2009 (at my house)
I had been planning this shower for months spending many sleepless night sewing and constructing decorations and when it came down to the actual day everything came together perfectly.

I set up Thomas outside for the kids and it was a hit...

Family pics...

Emily and Grace were great helpers...

Bachelorette Party, August 1, 2009
Planning this day turned out to be a lot more work than I expected but we sure ended up having a SUPER time together. I wanted everything to be a surprise and be absolutely perfect for Jenny. Since we aren't big bar drinking people I bought tickets to the Kenny Chesney concert in Seattle. We all got together first at Anthony's on the Pier for lunch. We celebrate all of our big family events at Anthony's. After a 2 1/2 hour lunchand some gift opening we headed over to the concert. The concert opened with Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Montgomery Gentry, Sugarland and then finally Kenny Chesney. It was FABULOSO!
