Getting Ready...

Jack and Daddy spent the other day turning his crib into a toddler bed. We never had to do this for Emily because she went straight into a big girl bed in her own room but with two boys in the same room this just made more sense.

Jack LOVED using Daddy's big boy tools and was twisting and turning them in every crevice he could find. I tried replacing them with his wooden tools but he wasn't convinced they could do the same job.

By the time they were all finished the room looked transformed. Sorry I don't have any pictures of the "new bed" but I was off to another project by the time they had finished. I still have a lot to do for it to be completely ready but we are definitely making progress. Jack loves playing peek-a-boo and jumping on his new big boy bed but he doesn't really know what to think about sleeping in it. He keeps running across the room looking inside the baby's little crib and trying to crawl in. Oh well, hopefully we still have a few more months to convince him!
