third sunday...

We always spend third Sunday in Nooksack with the Joneses.  It is always fun for the kids to get together and play their hearts away all day and even more fun when we do some extra celebrating.  This Sunday we celebrated Tom DeHoog's birthday and Mothers' Day. 

The kids were super excited that Grandma Jones got a special Curious George cake for dessert...

 Before we sat down to eat the kids practiced telling some jokes, just like Emily had done in her preschool program a few nights earlier...

We sang happy birthday to Uncle Tom...

 After dinner the kids ran around while the littlest ones enjoyed each other's company. 

They sat and stared at each other...

 chased each other...

took a few swings...

 and when it came to the wrestling match Vinnie was a sure win...

 All three littles together...(Sy 5 months, Charlie 10 months, Vince almost 1 year) ...

 We tried one last pic before we left.  The days of gathering all the kids together for a picture may be done for now.  No Max and no Jack and poor Charlie got his arm stuck behind Cousin Jake.  What I do LOVE about this picture though is the way that Vince is holding onto Grandma Jones for dear life...
