During dinner on third Sunday an idea popped into my head and I just couldn't let it go. I have been dying to attend a wienie roast with all of the Joneses at the Judy's house but it seems like whenever there is one planned we have something going on or it is too much driving in one weekend. Since we had nothing planned for the weekend I decided we should drive up to Nooksack on Sunday, attend Cousin Sarah's graduation party at the Judy's house and then stay the night at Grandpa and Grandma Jones' house. We were all super excited to spend some time with all of the family and get some one on one time with Grandma and Grandpa as well.
On our way to their house we stopped by to see Cousin Kristie and her FIVE day old horse, Romeo. Emily was in love at first sight...
Before heading to the field she toured the play house...
Then spent the next half an hour doing what she loves best, being with animals...
The kitty and blankie made it out of the car and onto the swings...

The baby horse eventually caught his attention and he took a turn petting him...
Romeo started to get a little frisky so we all headed to the yard to play with Cousin Kristie. Can you tell how much they LOVE her?
We took one last stroll through the barn to see the other horse and collect the chicken eggs...
Then we headed on over to Grandma and Grandpa Jones' house where we were quickly greeted by the Lautenbachs...
Jack and Max got along so well...
Later that evening we headed on over to the Judy's to celebrate Cousin Sarah's graduation from Gonzaga! Everyone knows that the Joneses know how to celebrate and have super fun parties but an ice cream machine...seriously, I don't think it gets better than that!
All the cousins took turns on the tractor...
And these two girlies had LOTS of fun together...
A train passed just as we were eating, creating more excitement than you could imagine...
Emily didn't see the train because she had already been down at the barn for some time checking on all of the animals...
Uncle Marshall told me that Emily had been down at the barn, all alone for quite awhile. They had renamed the goats together and she told him all about how she would care for them. That little girl has a passion for animals unlike any child I know...
By 10:30 our kids were TOAST so we headed on over to Grandma and Grandpa's for our big sleepover. Sleep, they did not, but we stay at their house!

Charlie watched for a little while, then found his way to the swings...
During third Sunday dinner, the week prior, Charlie left his favorite blankie behind. Grandma Jones called right away and offered to bring it down but Charlie found a replacement blankie that seemed to do the job for the week. Along with the blankie he adopted two kitties and a doggie to tote around as well...
Jack found the playhouse and tunnel and was one happy little boy. The icing on the cake were the masses of lady bugs crawling around. This little boy LOVES ladybugs...
