Auntie Jenny and Olivia always come up to join in on our pre-Easter and Easter celebrations. Usually we stay up ALL night dying eggs with the kids but this year we did them a few days earlier, leaving the night before a good night for relaxing and cuddling...
On Easter morning the kids got up early and searched for the eggs and their baskets that the Easter Bunny had left for them. Lucky for them the Easter Bunny got the message that we have been cutting back on the sweets and left them money filled eggs instead...
Mater eggs are the BEST!
...and Olivia found her way to some one's stash as well...

Then Grandma Patti handed out the kids' Easter presents...
Lucky for the girls (and me!) their Easter dresses still fit from last year!
Then we all headed outside for some serious egg smashing...
Poor Uncle Mike fell victim to the "flour" egg again this year...
By the time we were done our entire patio looked a little like this!
We finished all of our Easter celebrations before noon and then spent the rest of the day cleaning and packing up for our first BIG camping trip of the year!
Charlie sat and admired his stash for a long time...
After mass we all gathered at our house for Easter Brunch...
Oops...there were a few more this year I guess (heeheehee)...
