During the first week of July we ventured to Harrison Hot Springs in Canada for a fun-filled week camping with the Pearsons. This was our first time camping at HHS and it proved to be a new fav! While our actual camping sights left a lot to be desired the facilities were AMAZING...
By the time we got up there the kids were all ready for their first dinner together...
Then with full bellies we headed off to the pool...
The next day Mary Elizabeth, or "Mom Pearson", surprised the kids with some fun toys...
Bryan bought us some new fancy lanterns at Target just before we left and was feeling extra impressed with his Martha Stewart abilities...
Dad Pearson got out the Dominoes and Jack was immediately hooked!
The following day the kids headed straight the play ground...
And when "open swim" was open we headed straight to the pool...
Lunch and quiet time after a full morning of swimming...
Then over to the carousel where yours truly was "trained" to operate it for the kids...

That afternoon I ran into town and picked up Jack this new tank top. It was in the low 90's all week and we were in need of some cool clothes...
We made masks during craft/quiet time...
Then we ate dinner and headed back to the pool for the rest of the day...
The next day Jack was up bright and early with his new favorite shirt (again) and some LEGO inventions...
We headed into town to spend a day on the beach...
Bryan blew up the raft and took the kids for a ride on the lake...
When the kids were all done at the beach we went on a BIGFOOT hunt until we found him!
Chris found some matching hats for the dads to wear...
And we settled in for the night a little like this...
The next day was the Fourth of July. I dressed the kids up in their patriotic outfits but that was the extent of our celebrating. Instead we watched the fireworks the first night we came up since it was Canada Day...
Then it was off to the pool...
That evening all the kids were TUCKERED out and fell asleep at before 6pm. The only two left awake were our Jack and Charlie P. so I made them some SMORES to snack on to end our fun Fourth of July holiday...
The next morning the kids were hard to arouse, even with twelve plus hours of sleep. They spent the morning being lazy, watching movies in their jammies, while Bryan and I packed and got ready to go home...
We said our good-byes and set off on the short drive back to the states and a visit with Grandma and Grandpa Jones...
