For Christmas a few of us chipped in and flew my
Uncle Wally and Aunt Amaranth up from Mexico so that my grandma could see them. It was definitely a gift for all of us. My kids took about 1 second to warm up and then stuck to them like glue.
That Saturday my Grandma hosted a family get together for all of us. Almost everyone was in attendance and it made for a very special day. I hadn't seen all of my family together since last Easter since we didn't spend Thanksgiving with them and Christmas was spent in the hospital. This day really made up for it though...

Jack found the "magic chair" with Great Grandma Toddy. We used to spend
hours spinning in this chair as kids and Jack found it just as entertaining...
Do you love the overalls? My Uncle Wally is never without his overalls so Jack sported his for the day since Uncle Wally was his new favorite person...
Maybe that was a lot of spinning...
Back at our house the kids wrestled and played with Wally all afternoon. It was so touching to see the love they demonstrated for both of them...just like I did as a kid and still do...

We love you both and miss you so much already. We are gearing up for a big trip to Mexico next year. Hope you are ready for us!
