7 months...

I don't know how month seven snuck up on me but it did.  It feels like I just posted his six month birthday days ago and here we are a month later.  This past month has been filled with so much joy as we have watched Charlie change in so many ways.

He is now eating an assortment of foods: bananas, apple sauce, pears, peaches, carrots, peas, mashed potatoes, rice cereal, Cheerios and his favorite, crackers.  He takes a bottle well, a nice bonus for daddy and has developed a regular routine to his day.  He wakes around 6am, takes two teeny tiny naps during the day and then is fast asleep by 8pm.  He still growls and grrrrs as we put him to sleep, a trait I hope he never out grows. His dispostition has continued to be charming, joyous and full of laughter.  He belly laughs at the sight of kids and his grin spreads from ear to ear, pushing and stretching those amazingly chubby cheeks in every direction.  He has the most precious dimple on his right cheek that itches for me to smother it with continuous kisses and it calls out to many strangers for a few pinches as well. He is sitting upright on his own more and more every day but is still a little wobbly.  He is rolling circles across the floor, grabbing everything in sight and is a master at pulling his sister's hair.

While I am a little uncertain of his specific stats, I do remember that he was 19 pounds at his 6 month appointment and in the 85th percentile for height and weight.  It is hard to believe that he is still much smaller than Emily was at this age and shorter than Jack.  He does however have Jack beat on weight.  I have a feeling that in a few years he may catch up to him all together.

I love our little Charlie Bear...every inch of that round, warm body.  Every day feels complete with him in our lives and perfect in every way.  He truly is a blessing.
