complete...

It has taken me awhile to finish up these last few projects.  I had a few in between that I never got around to taking pictures of but for the most part I can say that I am done....at least for a few weeks that is...

A quilt for baby Lexie with softest backing ever...
I have been dying to make a picnic blanket for a while now and just love the way it turned out.  The backing is water proof and you may remember the front little squares from this post...

I also finished Jack's quilt.  I love old quilts that are tied.   I decided to try it out the "tying method" with this new one for Jack.  The backing is insanely thick, plush and cozy.  He has been toting it around with him for days now so I think it was a success...
I have been working on this quilt for a while for someone near and dear to our hearts.  The kids and I said some special prayers while making it and Emily picked out all of the appropriate pink colors.  Hopefully the special person receiving this quilt knows how much we love her and are praying for a healthy recovery...
I made some cowboy and cowgirl outfits for the DeHoog birthday party...
...and some other shirts per Emily's request.

Presenting princess Ariel...
...and an assortment of ponies and unicorns...
I finally finished the boys room.  I think it is now safe to say that Jack LOVES his bed (thank you Lautenbach boys) and stays in it almost every night.  Woody, George and Buzz snuggle right next to him as he drives around on his vehicle sheets...
Remember this dresser?  I LOVE finds like this...
I stuck the changing table in the closet since it still works great for storing stuff...
The room is a little crowded but it seems to work.  It is a mismatch of green and blue boy stuff (trucks, trains, cars, ocean animals and farm equipment) and I LOVE it that way.

I finally finished a table cloth and banner for my sister's BIG baby shower hosted by her friends and I but you will have to wait until next weekend to see the ENTIRE set up. We sent out invitations for 70 people so it should be quite the event.

I have a whole new stash of projects waiting in my "to do" bin but with the summer weather finally heading our way they may just end up sitting in the bin a little bit longer...
