I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE starting new traditions and this one is definitely a keeper. On the Friday following Charlie's birthday we took the kids to ride THOMAS the
REAL TRAIN...
The conductor took our tickets and we were off...
Charlie rode with Grandpa Jim the entire ride...
Jack rode with Daddy...
...and Emily found a spot on Auntie Jenny's lap...
We made our way to the falls and then came back to an assortment of Thomas activities...
We stopped to get some pictures with Thomas..
Then we headed to the train table...
Next we headed over to do some Thomas stamping...
Emily LOVED the stamping so we left her there while Jack went over to the play tables. Jack is a little bit of a hoarder when it comes to trains, trucks, tractors and cars. Good thing there were a lot of tables full of trains to go around...
Just before we left we found a balloon lady. Emily requested a
PINK sword while Jack just wanted a lady bug...
As I said in the beginning, this was an amazing day and a definite "add to" for our ever growing family traditions list. The best part is that it is only minutes from Auntie Jenny and Uncle Zach's house. We just can't wait to go again next year with one more kiddo (Baby Mitchell) riding along with us...
We were there too! We really should talk more!!
