November has been a pretty fun month for us so far. We are spending most of our days inside but whenever Mr. Sun decides to make a visit we quickly head for the park or outside at our house. We have been a little lazy on some of those yucky weather days, lounging in our cozy clothes and cuddling in blankies while we play games or just keep each other company. Besides the bean bags, Charlie's new favorite spot is on Emily's bed. He likes to nestle deep into the warm blankets, propped up with the princess pillow behind his head and then he begins hushing us with his fingers pressed against his lips. He smirks the entire time making it all that more entertaining...
Jen and the boys came for a playdate on WEDNESDAY after a FULL day of shopping at the Burlington Outlets. We LOVE being the "get your wiggles out house" for the cousins when they are down for a day of shopping. Jen brought Jack some new Thomas underwear and it didn't take long before both Max and Jack had all of their clothes off...
These might be the two cutest pair of buns I have ever seen...
The littles played and played with us mommies while Emily and Jake were off playing on their own entire afternoon...
We spent Thursday and Friday with Auntie Jenny and Olivia but I got caught up in all of the fun and NEVER took any pictures. On Friday we took our littles (Charlie and Olivia) out to visit Grandpa Jim. He was fresh home from the hospital and we knew he needed to fill up on some tasty treats as well as some baby time. On SATURDAY we took up one of our favorite past times from last year and headed over to the Pearson's for a funfilled COUGAR SATURDAY...
I made Emily a new HOT pink sparkle WSU shirt that morning and she was super excited to sport it for the day...
The following week the kids and I took down all of the Halloween crafts and started some NOVEMBER activities. Trying to engage Jack in crafts is hit or miss but painting with tractors and trucks was right up his alley...
The "truck painting" was to create texture on the scarecrows shirt. Emily sat the entire time and finished hers all up....
...while Jack lost interest after gluing the shapes on the face. Instead he found his trains and drove them all around on my counters, carefully shouting out to me anytime something was in his way...
Jack's interest returned when the scissors came out...
And finally Mrs. Scarecrow was all complete...
After a lot of work crafting Emily decided that she needed to warm up with some tasty hot chocolate...
Later that afternoon the kids were pleading to go outside so I made up a batch of sidewalk paint and out we went...
It think it was a good welcome to November.
