Four years ago we spent our first New Year's Eve with the Pearson's and it has stuck ever since. Things have gotten a lot easier over the years and it seems crazy to think that the first year we all got together the twins and our Jacks were only a few months old, Emily was 2, their Charlie was 3 and our Charlie was years away from even existing!
We amped things up a little this year and tried to get a little fancy. For the adults we did a fondue party with lots of fancy drinks...
...and for the kids we livened thins up with some tasty Shirley Temples...
I made party bags for all of the kids to open down stairs...
We couldn't even hear those noise makers going off upstairs!
The kids took all of their glow sticks into Charlie's room, turned the lights off and had a blast...
The night didn't last too long and we had four out of six kids asleep before 9:30pm.
The next morning we headed up to Birch Bay for the Jones' Polar Bear Swim. None of our kiddoes wanted to participate but they did a great job cheering on the crazy dippers. As usual, Emily was super excited to see Cousin Jake...

It wasn't too long before the countdown was on and they all took the plunge into the bay...

Then it was off to the swimming pool...
While Daddy and Emily swam, the boys played with their cousins inside...
Jack was showing Grandma and Grace how to play games on Daddy's phone...
For some reason these littles got it into their heads that it would be FUN to head butt each other. I think it started out with Vince and Charlie and they Sy quickly got in the mix...
FUN times as always bringing in the NEW YEAR. 2012 was an AMAZING year so 2013 has its work cut out for it!
