Sweet days at the bay...

The Jones' have some really fun traditions and going to the bay is one of my favorites. This year there were LOTS of toys and entertainment for the little guys inside. Jack and Max started playing right away.

The next morning we got up and headed to the Lynden Fair. Our first stop was to see Uncle Tom's pigs and the rest of the animals...

Grace decided to hitch a ride with Jack for a minute or two...After some tractor entertainment we went to the horse barn to see Kristy and her horses. Emily was e.l.a.t.e.d and Kristy was such a good sport.Even Jack was impressed with Kristy!After visiting all of the animals the kids were wearing down so we grabbed some corn dogs and fries and filled their little bellies. After the kids were recharged Auntie Amanda and Grace went on their way and the rest of us headed over to the bouncy houses so that Jake and Emily could get a little energy out. Jack reeeally want to go in with them....
but he and Max found a way to entertain themselves while they waited.That evening Jen's sister-in-law volunteered to come out and snap a few pictures of the family for us. We were team "white"... The whole bunch...Our family feet...

and Jack's little toes...When we finished up Sandy gave the kids some bubbles and they were happy as clams...

The next morning Emily was still playing with those bubbles but we somehow convinced her to go for a walk on the beach with us.I found this crabbie lurking under a rock...

and just had to get it out.These little boats we bought were a huge hit with the kids. There was just enough breeze to help them set sail.After a long day Bryan found a place to relax while the kids and I hit the hot tub.All I can say is CORN on the COB is so DELICIOUS...Our last morning....Emily and Jake took showers and then the two naked babies snuggled on the couch...On Saturday we headed straight from the bay to Lynden for the wedding of Allie Enfield and Josh Macomer. The wedding was held at Allie's parent's house. Marv and Linda's gardens were absolutely beautitful and made the perfect setting for this out door wedding. We took back row seats in case we needed a quick escape but luckily the kids were pretty entertained with the white chairs.Allie and her dad, Marv...Our wedding buddies, Haddy and Jerry Rammerman, left their little guy at home so Jack moved right in...
This is what Emily had been waiting for...the band started playing and she was the first one on the dance floor. It brought back many memories of our own reception that was held here as well and they even had the same band. Five years later they still sounded great!The kids danced their little hearts out...right into some sweet dreams...
