In between the cleaning I took some time to prepare a few little things for Easter.
An Easter bunny for Jack and Emily...
A mini table runner to hold the dish of Easter candy...well the Easter candy that was there until Jack and Emily ate it all last week...
An Easter satchel for collecting eggs in... (should I mention this is the original project I started when I jammed my machine and injured my finger.)
An Easter towel for the bathroom...
Emily died some of our version of blown out eggs. Emily was watching Martha Stewart On Demand last month and was convinced that we needed to make confetti eggs for Easter. While I was super excited to begin this new tradition, Grandma Martha made the whole process look a little bit easier than it really was...
Ta daaaa.... All ready to fill with confetti and crack on eachother's heads.
P.S. Bryan won this year with our annual April Fool's Day prank. After a very sleepless night I went to make him some coffee and was suprisingly attacked by the sprayer. That is the last time I feel bad and make him coffee when I had way less sleep...=)
This is the first time Bryan has got me in a few years so I guess I deserved it. Here's a little snapshot back of our April Fool's last year. Where does the time go!
Okay . . . I DO NOT believe you had that much stuff to get rid of! HA! Makes me want to do a big purge here too! All of your Easter projects are too cute . . . maybe someday my sewing machine and I will be that good of friends. :)
