We headed straight to Grandpa Jim and Grandma Patti's house on Friday evening for one last BBQ with Uncle Mike before he left for Arizona. We brought Charlie's new bounce house along for the kids to test out and it proved to be a hit...
Charlie was super excited to see that his buddy Christian stopped by to see him...
Patti served up her most famous bloody Mary's...
The kids played and played the afternoon away...
I took a few pictures for Jenny for Olivia's birthday invitation...
It was REALLY hot so the kids decided to got through Grandpa's new sprinkler...
After all of that playing we took a break to eat some watermelon and Popsicles...
Charlie LOVES playing in the garden/water table that Grandpa built...
Charlie was killing us with his knock-knock jokes....
Later that afternoon we all headed to a baby shower for Auntie Jenny's best friend from high school. This was unlike any baby I had ever been to...seriously, they had TWO bouncy slides and a giant slip and slide for the kids. To say the kiddoes had fun would be an understatement!
I think Haley is more than ready to be a big sister...
The giant slip and slide was incredible. The kids lathered it with soap and then slid a few hundred feet down the side of the hill...
The neighbor boys let Emily borrow some swim clothes...
I can still hear Charlie screaming, "MORE!" in his big husky voice...
The kids did A LOT of bike riding...
After a super fun day, we good-byed with hugs and kisses and made our way home...
On Friday night Emily stayed the night with Grandma Emily and Auntie Jenny at our friend's house (Grandma was house sitting for them). The next morning Auntie Jenny let Emily help her make some raspberry and strawberry jam...
We had a few fun days at home and then spent ALL day Sunday packing for our next adventure...
