Vacation #5: Fall City (Olivia's Birthday Party)...

On Saturday morning we got right to work setting up everything for Olivia's first birthday party.  Bryan and Zach did a ton of work and quickly renamed it "Olivia's Un-cianera."

Jenny spent MONTHS working out every last detail and when it was all said and done it was absolutely a.m.a.z.i.n.g!

OLIVIA'S FARM PARTY...

Like I said, Jenny did not skimp on a single detail...

Each kiddo received a bag FULL of fun stuff to take home.  She made farm animal crayons to accompany little farm coloring books and sticker books.  She also made each kiddo a few confetti eggs, especially wrapped in the prettiest red paper...

I also loved the banner she made...
She ordered this amazing cake and created her own topper...

We decorated this little "throne" for Olivia...
...and we put out too many vases of daisies to count.  I won't fill you in on how we got them, but I will say it was quite the adventure...

Anyone who knows Jenny knows that SHE CAN COOK!  She always has the most impressive spreads, all done by herself...
The roasted corn on the cob was to die for...
Their backyard is extremely large and created for entertaining.  Seriously, who has this many table and chairs in their backyard at all times but the Mitchells...

This was a HUGE hit with the kids...

My dad made this amazing retro kitchen for Olivia from scratch.  It was definitely the hit of the party....
All of the guests wore their cowboy/cowgirl gear...
Grandpa Jim and Grandma Patti should have won the award for best get-up...
 Zach's mom and sister...
Zach's mom, dad, grandma and sister...
Over 60 guests came to enjoy the afternoon...

After our bellies were full the kids took turns hitting the pinata...

Then each kiddo opened their party gift...
The confetti eggs got put to use in a variety of ways...

Jack used all his up as baseballs...
Then Donny, Zach's good friend, brought over his tractor and gave all of the kids TRACTOR RIDES...

After a few rides each the kids were ready to head back to the back yard to sing to Olivia...
Charlie snuck a little bit for himself as well...
Then Olivia opened all of her gifts...
Emily and Jack took a well needed Grandma break, away from all of the action...
After all of the guests had left I took our kids for one last ride...
I LOVED the time we got to spend and my sisters and wish every day could be this much fun.  It was so much fun to get an entire week together but the best part was that on Sunday we ALL headed for a week long camping trip together!
