On our way to Nehalem Bay we stopped at MO's in Cannon Beach...
The kids loved looking at Haystack Rock and wondered if there really was a pirate ship inside it...
After lunch we got back in the car and headed toward our destination. This was our first time camping at Nehalem Bay (Grandpa's choice) and it turned out to be one of my new favorite campgrounds. Just behind those trees in the background, over two sets of dunes is the ocean!

So while Bryan was teaching the kids how to wax their skim boards you can see Grandpa moving pretty quickly. Can you guess who he was chasing after? That little Olivia is a quick one!

The next day Grandma and Grandpa met up with family friends and we took the kids into town to explore. We happened upon this retro candy store and got a little carried away!
Emily worked on her beach Frisbee moves...
And then went skim boarding with her daddy...
The kids loved watching the horses on the beach...
We had lots of cuddle time around the fire as well...

When we returned we headed straight to the beach. The weather was great and the kids spent the entire afternoon playing!

Bryan did a good job of keeping up with guitar lessons with Emily. They were practicing for her big performances in August at Accordion Fest...
We did a TON of bike riding...
On our last morning Jenny packed up all the kids and took them to the park while I cleaned/packed/organized the inside of the trailer and Bryan did the outside...
Then we sardined the kids back in the car and headed to Fall City!
