I LOVE this park but seldom venture here alone. It is incredibly large (a toddler park, big kid park and a sprinkler area) so I usually enlist a little help. Jack doesn't like going in the water so he stuck by Grandma Emily's side the entire time while Emily, Charlie and I hit the water...
After a few hours at the park we headed back to Grandma Emily's for the afternoon...
The kids have their very own bed at grandma's house and LOVE to lay together while they watch old espisodes of Peter Rabbit...
The finality of this day made me a little emotional knowing that the school year was beginning the following day. I feel so completely blessed to have another full year home with kids. I never thought I would be able to by a Stay at Home Mom and I am extremely grateful for this opportunity. This is going to be our last year home, all four of us together, and I want to make the most of every single moment. While Emily is going to preschool a few hours a day, a few days a week, it feels nothing like preparing for Kindergarten next year. These years have FLOWN by quicker than I ever could have imagined. Each one of these precious beings means more to me than anything is this world. While some days may feel challenging, exhausting and never ending, I will take a hard day at home with the kids over anything else that comes my way. I don't want to miss a thing.
